Shipping

Please note, ‘Alohi Kai jewelry is shipped from Hawaii, and some jewelry will be made to order which takes a bit of time.  While the sun shines most days here, there is a price to pay for paradise, and shipping times is one of those things! If we have it in stock, we’ll ship it to you immediately (once your payment has cleared). For silver pieces, allow 1-3 days for things in stock before we ship; vermeil can take up to an additional 2-3 weeks if not in stock.  If you have a deadline earlier than this, send us a note to be sure – we may have one in stock. We generally use priority mail (5-7 days for shipping), but please allow 2-3 weeks delivery.

Our shipping is generally done via USPS First Class mail, however if you need something faster, and we have it in stock, we can send it priority mail (3-5 days from ship date), please email us at hello@warm-pyramid.flywheelstaging.com to arrange it. 

 

US Shipping: We take great care in making our products, and understand that you are making an investment when you purchase from us. For these reasons, we always insure our domestic shipments for the full value of your purchase.  The good news – shipping for all US orders over $100 is free for you!  Otherwise our standard shipping rates are $9.99 anywhere in the US (8.99 in Hawaii).  (If you are fortunate enough to live in Hawaii, we are happy to arrange a pick up.) If you would like it sent somewhere not in our shipping list, please contact us or email at hello@warm-pyramid.flywheelstaging.com and we’ll look into it right away.

 

International shipments: As mentioned above, please be patient while your purchase makes its way to you; we are a long way from most places. In fact, Hawaii is the most remote place from any other land mass in the world! Know that we will diligently get your order out as soon as we can, but that even with the best of timing, it may still take a few weeks to arrive. If your country is not on our current list please send us a note to enquire, we will happily add most destinations.

 

Additional Charges: Please note that customers will be responsible for any international taxes, duties and/or refused shipping charges.

 

Packaging

Gift Packaging: Sending a gift? We’ll include a hand-written note from you  – just tell us what you want it to say in the Order Notes when you check out. Your gift will arrive gift wrapped/boxed and ready for them to open! Our invoices are sent to you on email so you never have to worry about them seeing your receipt.

 

Packaging: We try to be conscientious of the waste we produce, so all packaging from basic to luxe is made from recycled and/or natural products and/or is re-usable (linen or cotton bags, woven lauhala boxes, wood, recyclable or recycled paper boxes) and shipped with consideration to the least waste possible. We will make every effort to ensure your piece is protected – without killing any additional trees.

We usually ship in a recyclable cardboard box or compostable mailer. We are pleased to share with you that our branded mailers are not only made with the highest % of recycled pulp allowed, they are beautiful enough to use again. Our branded tissue paper also comes from sustainably managed forests and are printed with soy-based, eco-friendly inks. Any filler products you find in your package are reused from what our suppliers send us. And our plastic mailers are compostable at home.

 

Plastics: Our bubble wrap and some bags are re-used rather than purchased, our purchased plastics are biodegradable. Our plastic mailer envelopes are compostable.

 

Lost parcels: We will do what we can to assist in the case of a lost parcel.  We will only consider it lost however, once 30 days from ship date has passed.  

 

Returns & Cancellations 

We are generally unable to provide refunds, but we do want you to love your purchase! Please contact us and we will be happy to work with you to find a solution. We can also exchange your purchase for another piece, provided the returned pieces are in excellent condition, and within 7 days of purchase.  The exceptions to this policy are any special/bespoke/custom work, rings or earrings (for health and safety reasons). Rings are generally made to your specifications, please do check your size before ordering! For any special or bespoke orders, all sales are final.

Please also note, we cannot refund shipping on either side of a return.  Do contact us before sending anything!  We will send you instructions.

We regret that once we process an order it cannot be cancelled – please check your order!

 

Repairs

If your jewelry is in need of repair please email us and we will send instructions on how to get it to us. Charges and shipping (at cost) may apply. We will get your agreement on costs and how to proceed once we see the damaged piece.

 

Custom Fitting

Everyone is shaped a little different! If you are in Hawaii and own a piece of our jewelry we are happy to custom fit it for you, just come to any of our events. If you purchase something from us at an event we will also happily fit it for you. Check the calendar or sign up for our VIP list to find out our whereabouts.
